So glad we chose the Anvil Hall in Gretna to get married. It is absolutely stunning inside and out! The inside is just beautifully decorated it is simplistic / timeless and it just looked perfect in our photographs. I also loved that as well as the wonderful piper we had our chosen songs played during the wedding ceremony. Made it feel more personal to us. Having it at the Anvil Hall felt more private and intimate, especially when it came to having the photographs outside. The staff there were lovely and I am so thankful they helped the day run smoothly. It’s also amazing that they have the wedcam when you’ve chosen to have a small wedding so you can still have family / friends watch you get married. I was so glad that people were still able to watch our big day. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to elope / marry in Gretna.

Me and my partner eloped to Scotland to have a more low-key and intimate wedding with just us two. We chose Anvil Hall and I’m glad we did! A lovely location in a small, quiet area of Gretna. Loads of parking and some wonderful, picturesque areas where we had our wedding photos done. The service was stress free with very friendly and chatty witnesses. We were made to feel welcome immediately and had a good laugh with the Pastor and witnesses. A big hall with perfect music to walk down the aisle to! Followed by multiple poses and locations chosen by the photographer to ensure we got the best photos possible! I’m pregnant and our photographer made sure the bump was included in some of the photos as well which fully captures the start of our family! Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend :))

We were .arrived at this beautiful venue on 14/09/2023.The stunning setting made for some stunning photographs. The sun shone for our day. The wedding coordinator was amazing. Our dog was a big part of our day. We had a lovely day. A big thank you to all who made our day special.

Anvil hall is not only a beautiful venue but everyone we dealt with were fabulous. The whole process was so smooth and perfect I can not wait to revisit in the future. We got married at Anvil Hall on the 20th October 2022. Despite the rain we had the most amazing day! The venue is absolutely stunning! It truly is magical! A big thank you to all the staff, including those behind the scenes. Everyone we met was just so lovely and everything ran like clockwork. A day to remember for the rest of our lives.

We got married here in 2020. After our big wedding cancelled we chose Gretna green to have a more intimate wedding with just our parents. Everyone was so helpful and so kind.
